Robin Egg Blue...

I absolutely love this colour, I didn't realise I had an addiction to this colour until I started noticing it on all my clothes and all the things we have in our flat. Although some things are more pale blue than robin egg blue it seems like I just can't help myself. So saying that, why hadn't I thought of this before - robin egg blue for my wedding theme! It has that vintage, English countryside feel to it and plus it is such a nice colour that I don't think anyone could hate it.

Having done a little research I have found some images I like in robin egg blue. There is so much on Etsy that you can find if you want a hand made look to your wedding (which I think we are going to do a lot of hand making ourselves to save money.)

Everyone has their own versions of robin egg blue but if someone said to me 'robin egg blue' this would be my idea of it...

I think they look gorgeous as dresses and I think the shade can suit a lot of tones of skin colour, so if you are pale then it won't make you look washed out. I mean look at the fair skinned woman in the picture, it goes well with her skin tone.

The colour reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, which is my favourite book of ALL time! I don't want to go too far down that route and make it fairy tale but it all looks very sweet and chic especially with the lavender.

Love the blue with the pale pink too.

I have had the idea of using photo frames as a different way to show the seating plan for the wedding breakfast, these are nice coloured frames to use.

How sweet is this dress!

Vintage china plates to add to the table decorations.

This colour is swaying more to the cornflower blue than robin egg blue but it's just to show how a nice colour can add little touches to your theme to make it all link together.
